I started writing this as a reply to one of the comments to the previous blog post....I thought I might as well make it a post.

Good one Priti. What interests me is the consciousness of our 'self' when we commit mistakes. It is because I strongly believe that 'wrong things' don't happen but we do 'wrong things'. When you do things, we are in a conscious state of mind which is very much YOU and once you come to know that you have made the mistake/ some wrong thing happens (if you think other way) it becomes pseudo-consciousness. I think the pseudo-consciousness lives in you and hits you in a big time.
My Reply:
It is nice to think about it that way.....But what I was telling here was not the fact that wrong thing Happen on its own...According to Murphy's Law If something can go wrong they definitely will....as in any case....Being a Human being you cannot make things perfect...so there are some loopholes which are successfully unearthed....and will be as is the law of probability.
You might know this much better than me but If there is a probability of getting one bad card out a set of 100 cards....There will be someone out of a 100 who gets that bad card....This is just part 1 of the story.....The parts that follow are that there will be 100 games each and everyone will get a bad card atleast once....Remember the saying that "Life is not smooth"....Things go wrong for them to look better....These are purely my speculations...."I am by no way a Statistician or a Philosopher or a Abstract Mathematician to talk about this."
Also there is one example that I would like to give here....I have always observed that when I learn a new word and look at the newspapers the next day....I see the new word everywhere.....Does that mean that the new word did not exist before I learnt what it was? Nope It was there all the time....and It was me who failed to notice it cos I was ignorant about its existence....The same is the case with the bad happenings with us....You are ignorant about how things can go wrong when things go right...But when things go wrong everything around you seems to go wrong....very similar to noticing the new words....Things going wrong was there all around you....It was probably not happening to you but you tend to notice it only when you experience it.
Now taking a complete U-Turn when I come to think of your point of view It is perfectly right from a reaction stand point.....In my experience in San Francisco if I had remained calm and acted normal things would have probably gone just fine...None of these would have happened....It is more like an action - reaction sort of a thing...The outcome at every step changes drastically depending on how I react to the whole situation....It is like something happens and you are given a chance to react to it....and your impending action is recalculated based on your reaction to the first action...Very True from an emotional standpoint....But from a Material standpoint I still believe Murphy's Law is still shining in its Full Glory....Blowing away things that have a chance on being blown away.
I would really be interested in Exploring Murphy's Law from a Chaos Theory stand point...I just finished seeing Dasavatharam and the theory so appealed to me....I might want to write a Fate vs Decision Part II again after learning more about Chaos Theory.
Thank you ..... You just gave a new perspective to my blog post
