I've been blogging for quite a while now...regular at times and irregular most of the times..nevertheless...that intimacy between me and my blog continues to grow exponentially....In a way I was glad that I took to blogging as writing out my feelings and singing my heart out was always something that I'd love to do and in that process I made some real good friends...thanks one and all for making this blogging a pleasant experience...I hope this blog continues to exist as long as I do :)...There have been many topics that I would like to share with everyone...Will continue my ramblings over the weekend..meanwhile...I would like to share this beautiful song "Putham Pudhu Kaalai from Alaigal Oyvadhillai" with all of you...I heard this song from Ajitha's Blog and wanted to give it a try...Listen to her excellent redition here..She was very nice enough to share the karaoke with me...and I've tried to be a lil more open throated in this rendition and the result was not very pleasing as I could notice the strain with higher notes...Wish I could reach the higher notes with greater ease...nevertheless...I wanted to share this with you all as this is one of my favorites :) Please leave your valuable comments :)

Priti, the song sounded realy good. You have done a wonderful job. Makes a huge difference when you open up. I didn't see any strain when you reached the higher notes. I could tell that you could even go higher with just believing in your voice :). If in the future, you feel you cannot reach the high notes in any song you can always change the scale down by a note or 2. I normally do that for most of the songs since I have a lower scale voice. Anyways, enjoyed the song. Keep up ...
TCR: Thanks for the valuable comments..will try to be more open throated in the future renditions...you din notice the strains??..haha maybe I was imagining things...:)..Yea for this song I actually did reduce the scale...:)
enna qtr century kudae celebration huh? hehe.. keep going..
hey great work again.. its really nice on the ears.. never heard the song be4..
Priti, I meant to say you already have done this song with an open throat and it is good. Anyways, where is the next song :)
Very nice to hear this song in your voice. Very pleasant performance.
Few things I noticed which could make the song more pleasant are pitch matching (in few areas),timing (in very few areas), and a bit increase in voice echo.
I listened more than 4 times.
The theme of the song goes well with your voice... morning Fresh and young..:).. Claps....
Priti, though I am not familiar with this song ...it sounds really good. If you remember I had suggested that you sing with full throat ...and see what you get :)
Very nice ...keep singing more ..
Very nice song..expecting to see more songs from you
Good work Priti.

Harshan - Thanks yes you did tell me to sing open throated and I am definitely happy with the result but due to very many constraints I cannot be open throated all the time...I sure appreciate and value comments coming from good singers from you :)..thanks once again
